Overview

Gates of Alesia is provided by Sykes Holding Group. It is designed as a local-first iPhone strategy game. The current version does not require an account, registration, cloud backend, chat, online multiplayer, or user-generated content.

Information Stored on Your Device

Gates of Alesia stores game progress and settings locally on your device using Apple-provided storage APIs. This may include level progress, victories, defeats, commander display text, and settings such as sound, music, haptics, and reduced effects.

Data Collection

The current version of Gates of Alesia does not collect personal data through a Sykes Holding Group backend. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking, location access, contacts access, camera access, photo library access, health data, financial data collection, backend sync, chat, or online multiplayer.

Purchases

Gates of Alesia may offer optional premium purchases through Apple's StoreKit. Premium purchases are handled by Apple. Apple may process purchase-related information according to Apple's policies and may provide transaction information needed to unlock premium access.

Support

If you contact Sykes Holding Group for support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address, app version, device details, screenshots, or issue description. Do not send credentials, payment information, or sensitive personal information in support messages.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local game progress and settings remain on your device until you edit them, reset progress where the app provides that option, or delete the app and its local data. Sykes Holding Group does not have a server-side copy of local game data in the current version.

Depending on your iOS and iCloud backup settings, device-local app data may be included in Apple-managed device backups. Sykes Holding Group does not control Apple-managed backups. You can manage device backups through your Apple device and iCloud settings.

Support messages are retained as needed to respond to the request, maintain support records, and comply with legal or operational obligations. You may contact support to request deletion of information you sent to Sykes Holding Group, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Product Boundaries

Gates of Alesia is a historically inspired strategy game. It is not a historical accuracy product, military training product, political product, gambling product, casino product, or real-world conflict simulator.

Children's Privacy

Gates of Alesia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
