Overview

Who’s Running is a web-first civic data project from Sykes Holding Group. It is being developed to help people search and understand candidate and race information using public election records and source-backed data.

Public Election Information

Candidate and race information shown by Who’s Running may come from public election records, official election sources, public candidate lists, filing records, administrative review, and similar publicly available election-related material. Candidate records may include source links and last-verified dates where available.

Public Users

Public users are expected to be able to browse and search candidate and race information without creating an account. Who’s Running is not intended to collect voter preference data, voter matching responses, or voter survey answers as part of this initial public directory.

Website Logs and Email

When you visit Sykes Holding Group web pages, the website or hosting provider may receive normal web request information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested page, date and time, and similar server log data. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in that email and use it to respond to your request.

Future Features

Future features may allow approved administrators, candidates, civic partners, organizations, or other users to submit corrections, verify information, request access to institutional tools, use widgets, or access data services. If those features are added, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe what information is collected, how it is used, and what choices are available.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

The current Sykes Holding Group static website does not include third-party advertising SDKs or paid candidate tracking. If analytics, newsletter signups, contact forms, accounts, or other data-collection tools are added to Who’s Running, this page will be updated before or alongside those changes.

Nonpartisan Access

Who’s Running is designed as a nonpartisan civic information project. Candidate visibility should not be based on payment, party affiliation, ideology, popularity, or fundraising.

Children's Privacy

Who’s Running is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
