Local-First App

Giftfolio: Gift Planner is provided by Sykes Holding Group. Giftfolio is designed as a local-first gift organizer. In the current version, people profiles, gift ideas, reminders, and gift history are stored on your device. The app does not require an account and does not use a cloud backend.

Information You Enter

You may choose to enter names, relationships, birthdays, important dates, sizes, interests, style preferences, gift ideas, price estimates, source or link notes, statuses, reminder notes, and gift history.

This information can be personal. You choose what to enter.

Reminders

Giftfolio can schedule local device reminders when you allow notifications. Notification delivery depends on iOS settings and device behavior. Reminder titles may be visible on your device, so use general wording if a gift should stay private.

How Information Is Used

Information you enter is used to provide app features on your device, such as showing people profiles, filtering gift ideas, displaying gift history, and scheduling local reminders when you allow notifications.

Disclosure and Sharing

Giftfolio does not upload your gift notes, people profiles, reminders, or gift history to a Sykes Holding Group backend in the current version. Giftfolio does not sell personal information and does not share app-entered gift data with advertisers or analytics providers.

If you contact support, Sykes Holding Group receives the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address, device details, app version, screenshots, or issue description. Avoid sending private gift notes, birthdays, order links, receipts, or sensitive gift history unless necessary for support.

Purchases

Giftfolio may offer optional premium purchases through Apple's StoreKit. Premium purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Apple may process purchase-related information according to Apple's policies and may provide transaction information needed to unlock premium access.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

The current version does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking.

Public App Catalog and Diagnostic Data

When you open More, Giftfolio: Gift Planner requests SHG's public Apple app catalog. The request does not include your gift ideas, people details, reminders, gift history, purchase state, or other app content.

The hosting provider retains aggregate request counts, status and cache results, latency, and bandwidth. We treat this operational information as Other Diagnostic Data used for App Functionality and Analytics. It is not linked to you and is not used for tracking.

Data Retention and Deletion

App-entered gift data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, or remove the app and its local data. Sykes Holding Group does not have a server-side copy of local app data in the current version.

Depending on your iOS and iCloud backup settings, device-local app data may be included in Apple-managed device backups. Sykes Holding Group does not control Apple-managed backups. You can manage device backups through your Apple device and iCloud settings.

Support messages are retained as needed to respond to the request, maintain support records, and comply with legal or operational obligations. You may contact support to request deletion of information you sent to Sykes Holding Group, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Sharing

The current version does not include in-app export, sync, sharing, or photo attachment storage. If future sync, sharing, export, or attachment features are added, this policy and App Store privacy labels will be updated before release.

Product Boundaries

Giftfolio is an organizer. It does not purchase gifts, guarantee delivery, compare prices, check inventory, provide merchant checkout, or verify merchant availability.

Children's Privacy

Giftfolio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
