Privacy Policy

Overview

Recall Radar is designed as a local-first iPhone app for product recalls, alert details, affected items, and follow-up notes. The current version does not require an account and does not include cloud sync, third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, push notifications, or a production recall backend.

Information You Enter

Recall Radar may let you enter watched product details, vehicle watch details, alert review status, onboarding state, premium-unlocked state, last review date, follow-up notes, and related information. This information is intended to stay on your device unless you choose to export, share, or otherwise send it outside the app. Depending on your iOS backup settings, device-local app data may be included in Apple-managed device backups.

Accounts and Cloud Sync

Recall Radar does not require an account, sign-in, registration, or cloud sync in the current version.

Purchases and StoreKit

Recall Radar uses Apple StoreKit for premium purchases and restore-purchase functionality. Apple processes purchases, subscriptions, receipts, payment information, refunds, and Apple account handling under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Recall Radar does not collect payment card numbers or create a Sykes Holding Group account profile for you. After a verified purchase or restore, the app stores premium-unlocked state locally.

Recall Radar includes user-tapped links to Sykes Holding Group pages, including the app page, Privacy Policy, Support page, and Apps page. When you open these pages, the website or hosting provider may receive normal web request information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested page, date and time, and similar server log data.

The app may also include user-tapped links to official recall-source websites, such as FDA, NHTSA, and CPSC pages. Recall Radar does not currently send your watched products, vehicle details, VIN, barcode, medication information, household notes, or alert status to those websites. External websites operate under their own privacy policies and logging practices.

Support Email

If you email us for support, we will receive the information you choose to include in that email, such as your email address, app details, or a description of your request. Support email may include app name or version, device model, iOS version, issue description, screenshots, watched item details, purchase questions, privacy questions, or other user-provided context. We use that information to respond to you and provide support. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary to resolve your support request.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Recall Radar does not sell your personal information. Recall Radar does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party advertising tracking in the current version.

No Production Backend

Recall Radar does not currently include a production recall backend, server-side recall matching service, barcode-scanner network lookup, retailer imports, pharmacy imports, medication imports, family sharing, household sharing, or cross-device sync.

Children's Privacy

Recall Radar is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
